David Brakke joined the NBC12 team in spring 2007 as a photojournalist and assignment editor.

During the week he works with reporters to shoot and edit stories for daily newscasts. On the weekend he maintains the assignment desk, dispatching reporters and photographers.

A Minnesota native and a graduate from the University of Minnesota, he was a reporter at KAAL in Austin, MN, before coming to WWBT.
