Missing man found | News
CHESTERFIELD, VA (WWBT)- Chesterfield Police have located a man who was reported missing on Monday, July 31.
George Knight Jr, 61, was found at about 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of the Kroger, 151 Le Gordan Drive. Police say he was unharmed.
Knight had not been seen since Sunday. Wednesday, police found his van in a vacant field just off Midlothian Turnpike. Police say it was found near Knight's home in the 3500 block of Pierson Drive in a vacant field across the street from the Kroger Shopping Center in Midlothian.
A blood hound and K-9 unit combed the field and wooded area searching for clues.
Chesterfield Police even issued out a small plane to help in the search effort from above.
